DescriptionMedium thin glass. A few small bubbles.
Transparent natural grayish green (10 GY 5/2). Translucent similarly colored handles and coil.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.0 cm in diameter, over reamer mark. Tooled. Added thread. Excess glass at tip of handles clipped off.
Rim partially folded outward, upward, and downward. Funnel neck with curved transition to shoulder. Gently sloping shoulder. Upper body bulbous with greatest diameter above midpoint; lower body nearly straight-sided with walls tapering down to base. Concave base with kick. Three angular coil handles applied to shoulder of upper body and attached to rim coil and side of rim where they project slightly upward and inward.
Rim coil. On lower body, eleven small regularly spaced oval indentations, slanting from upper right to lower left.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class I H 5 a.
