DescriptionMedium thin glass. Small spherical bubbles, elongated vertically in neck. Blowing spirals.
Transparent natural grayish green (5 G 5/2). Translucent similarly colored handles.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 0.9 cm in diameter, over reamer mark. Excess glass at tips of handles folded upward and back against top of handles.
Rim folded outward, upward, and inward. Concave neck with curved transition to shoulder. Nearly horizontal shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter above middle. Concave base with kick.
Two double-tiered coil handles applied to shoulder, touched down to middle of neck, and folded outward, upward, inward, and downward to edge of rim where they are attached and protrude slightly inward.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class I H 1 a.
