DescriptionMedium thick glass. Small irregularly shaped bubbles. Black specks.
Natural light green body; natural light green applied decoration; folded rim; conical neck; interior of neck constricted to form sprinkler; ovoid body with four large indentations; body decorated with applied and flattened threads in an irregular, snake-like pattern.
Transparent natural grayish green (10 GY 5/2). Similarly colored snake thread.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.5 cm, over reamer mark. Applied snake thread.
Rim outsplayed at angle and folded outward, upward, and inward at the edge. Short neck tapering downward to constriction at its base where an interior cut-out forms a diaphragm with an aperture of ca. 0.3 cm. Piriform body with four large oval indentations giving it a pyramidal shape. Concave base bordered by circular ridge (possibly an applied thread melted into surface).
On body, S-shaped loops of flattened snake thread with horizontal cross-hatching.
