DescriptionThis inverted conical beaker is made from transparent, decolored glass with a slight greenish olive tinge (5 Y 6/1). The thin glass contains a few pinprick and small bubbles, with blowing spirals still visible. The vessel was formed by free-blowing and cut with a wheel. It has an everted rim with convex sides and an irregular, unworked edge bent outward from about 0.5 cm below the rim. The sides taper straight down to a flat base with a slight central depression. The exterior is decorated with two bands of lightly inscribed horizontal wheel-cut grooves.
