DescriptionThis inverted conical beaker is made from medium thin, transparent, clear, colorless decolored glass. Small spherical and pinprick bubbles are present in the glass. The rim is everted, rounded, and thickened in flame. The body is inverted conical with a slight bulge just below center and concave sides below. The base is flattened with a depression in the center. The clear color, absence of tint, and the presence of “chill marks” on the base are noted; these may suggest the possibility of manufacture from lamp glass tubing, though this is not confirmed.
