DescriptionThin glass. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. Blue; white decoration; hemispherical shape; flared rim; on interior, top decorated with band of horizontal grooves; remainder of bowl with pinched vertical ribs; white looped decoration. Transparent royal blue with opaque white thread. Free-blown. Added thread; tooled. Rim ground; concave lip. Squat bulbous body. Base rounded. Seventeen thin irregularly placed ribs covered with opaque white spiral thread from base to lip. On lower part of lip, a band of six shallow horizontal grooves corresponding to a band of polishing marks on interior. CLASSIFICATION Isings 1957, Form 17
