DescriptionA folded leaf from a Qur'an, two folios with seven lines of rugged eastern Kufic on each page. Gold chapter heading, diacritical marks in red. Sura Al-Balad (90: 6-14) and Surah Al-Qadr (97: 1-4). Eastern Kufic style; this style was developed and vastly used in Greater Khorasan (northeastern Iran) in the 10th and 11th centuries.
