The Masters of the Zwolle Bible are named after a monumental, six-volume Bible produced in Zwolle, Netherlands, from 1464-1476 (see above). They formed a workshop associated with the House of the Brethren (or Brothers) of the Common Life in Zwolle. This group of illuminators produced Books of Hours, liturgical manuscripts, and said bible during the second half of the 15th century.
