Stine Bidstrup studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and has taught at her alma mater, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, School of Design on Bornholm since 2009. She was a visiting lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015. Bidstrup has exhibited internationally for the past decade. She is the co-founder of The Copenhagen-based collaborative Luftkraft Glass Studio. Bidstrup explores optical phenomena, and interprets and brings past ideas about utopic social and architectural visions to life through glass sculpture, installation and video. She was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, School of Design on Bornholm, Denmark in 2004, and the Rhode Island School of Design in the United States in 2006.
