Bell possesses a BA degree in graphic design and photography from Bowling Green State University (1976) and has worked as a fine art photographer since 2001. His work, which draws upon both traditional film photography and current digital technology, is represented in a number of corporate, university and private collections, including Argo Hytos, Health Care REIT (Corporate Headquarters), Kopps Frozen Custard, Westin Hotels, Howard Bond, Private Collection, and the University of Michigan. He has exhibited in a number of juried competitions throughout the US and is represented by several galleries including Joseph Saxton Gallery of Photography, Canton, OH, Henry Miller Gallery, Big Sur, CA, The Hudson Gallery, Sylvania, OH, John Rehner Gallery, Lakewood, OH and the Museum Store, Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo, OH.
