DescriptionThis object is a fragment of a rectangular plaque made from layered glass, carved in the cameo technique. It consists of opaque white glass over an opaque cobalt blue ground. The preserved scene depicts a young woman holding an amphora. Drapery surrounds the lower part of her body.
