Label TextThe sinuous lines in this print represent yunala tubers—also called bush banana or silky pear vine—growing beneath the ground at the rockhole and soakage water site Yunala, in the sandhills west of Kiwirrkura community, Western Australia. Yunala tubers were gathered by a group of women when they traveled to the site during Ancestral times.Exhibition History
