DescriptionThis work is a double cloth woven with wool and cotton yarn. A double cloth is a textile woven with two sets of warps and wefts that are arranged so only one set is seen on each side, allowing for a double-faced design in different colors. The coverlet likely had fringe that has been lost or removed at some point
