DescriptionMythological composition. Opaque white glass. Very fine cutting.
Small oval opaque white medallion contains relief scene with two figures. On left, old Silenus-type of bearded male leans on beribboned staff, and holds up edge of kilt with right arm. His legs are crossed. On right, child/satyr leans over to left and pours a libation (?) out of jug with his right hand, holding up edge of his kilt too, with his other hand. Behind young figure is a pedestal with statuette on top. Probably a religious offering scene.
