DescriptionThis small glass fragment shows a floral design in two horizontal bands. One band has colorful rosettes on a turquoise background; the other shows lotus flowers on dark blue. It was made by fusing together colored glass pieces and polishing the surface. Although broken, parts of the original edges remain, and the piece has been mounted on a modern backing.
