DescriptionTitle plate and six sequential prints in black on thin French laid paper. Described in della Bella's catalogue as: no. 787, Title: Paisages Maritimes; no. 788, Un port de mer; no. 789, Un vaisseau faisant voile; no. 790, A gauche, une galère dirigée vers le fond; no. 791, Une galère dans le port, couverte de sa grande banne; no. 792, Deux vaisseaux qui mettent à la voile; no. 793, Au milieu, un vaisseau qui vogue a toutes voiles. The title plate includes an empty coat of arms with dolphins on either side. Each plate depicts ships in various positions, docking or sailing.
