Label TextYellow monochrome porcelains were particularly prized during the reign of Yongzheng when they were reserved solely for the Imperial Court. Some were enriched with incised decorations before the yellow glaze was applied. These bowls have decorations of eight imperial symbols called ba bao, glorifying the characteristics of perfections to the reign of the emperor.- Decorative Arts
