DescriptionPressed, probably by a bench press, upside down over
a male mold, plain except for contiguous oval indentations that formed a rope pattern on the upper edge of the rim, by a female plunger bearing the pattern. The thick edge of the plate was also formed by the male mold. Shear mark on bottom.
