DescriptionBowl pressed upright, probably in a one-piece mold that formed the 12 panels, by a plain conical male plunger that formed the interior and probably the pointed top edges of the panels. Joined by a wafer to a hexagonal stem and a round base with seven loop panels. Stem and base pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections bearing the pattern by a plain male plunger that formed the hollow interior of the base and slightly rounded foot. Upper section of vase and rim reheated and flared outward by tooling. Rough, solid pontil mark at the top of hollow base.
