DescriptionPressed, probably upside down, over a plain male mold that formed the interior and the scalloped edge of the rim by a female plunger bearing the pattern of nectarine and star. The piece rests unevenly on the centers of the four scrolls on the base, not on the bosses at the ends of the scrolls.
