DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of two horizontal sections bearing the Washington pattern, with a base plate that formed a quatrefoil of four wedges with a printie in each quadrant, by a plain male plunger. The horizontal moldmark at the juncture of the vertical V-shaped wedge and at the two angled wedges above continues as an arc, forming the top of the roundel between the wedges. No pontil mark.
