DescriptionComposite mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with concentric circles of opaque white, blue, and opaque white surrounding a circular cluster of wedge-shaped opaque white rods, each outlined in pur-ple, with a DESCRIPTION Fragment of rim and side of carinated bowl. Horizontal rim with rounded edge; carinated side, with two con-vex curves. TECHNIQUE Assembled from sections of cane and cast; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
