DescriptionFragment of rim and side of large ribbed bowl. Slightly outsplayed rim with rounded edge; flaring shoulder; convex curving side, bulging outward below the shoulder. Marbled mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with numerous opaque white rods around a central opaque yellow and green right-angled spiral. On the exterior, pronounced, widely spaced ribs set vertically on the body; the ribs extend from the shoulder to the lower part of the body.
