DescriptionFragment of bottom of broad, shallow dish. Upper- and undersides of bottom flat. Composite mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections, square segments, and short rectangular lengths of six canes: the first in a purple ground with an opaque white spiral; the second in a blue-green ground with an opaque yellow spiral around a central golden-brown rod; the third in a golden-brown ground with an opaque white spiral around a central purple rod; the fourth, all rectangular lengths, in a purple ground with three parallel opaque white lines; the fifth, all squarish segments in an opaque white ground backed by golden-brown; and the sixth, all squarish segments, in an opaque yellow ground backed by golden-brown, visible only on the interior.
