DescriptionThis small Roman glass flask is shaped like two youthful faces placed back to back. Their round eyes, chubby cheeks, and tiered hair create a soft, childlike appearance. Made in a mold from deep blue glass, the vessel reflects advanced craftsmanship from the Eastern Mediterranean in the early third century.
