DescriptionThis glass vessel is shaped like a ripe date, with ridges in the surface that mimic the fruit’s wrinkles. It was made using a three-part mold, and the seams are hidden in the pattern. The neck flares outward, and the rim is folded in.
The dark brownish yellow glass shows signs of bubbles and streaks, which appeared during its manufacture. The body is shaped with a diamond-like cross section.
