DescriptionThis 4th- to 5th-century glass jar has a rounded rim with a wide roll beneath, a straight neck, and a gently sloping shoulder. The squat body is widest at its center and features shallow circular indentations. The jar was shaped by hand using a blowing technique, leaving visible spirals and a pontil mark on the base.
