DescriptionThis small glass bottle was made during the third quarter of the first century. It is known as an unguentarium, a type of vessel made by shaping hot glass by hand. The bottle has a folded rim, a long neck with a narrowed base, and a tall, triangular body. Tiny bubbles and a pale green tint reflect its handmade origin.
