DescriptionThis double-tube vessel is made of thin, transparent natural grayish-green glass (5 G 5/2) with translucent thread and handles of the same color. Numerous small and medium-sized bubbles are visible in the body. The vessel was free-blown with the pontil mark ground off. The body was pinched once lengthwise to create two tubular compartments. The hollow rim is folded inward and flattened. Two angular coil side handles were added to the upper body about 1.7 cm below the rim and attached directly to the rim edge. Excess glass at the tips of the handles was clipped off. A very thin thread was applied in sixteen revolutions from the base up to the rim before the body was pinched. This vessel is classified as Double Tube IC2a.
