DescriptionThis bowl-shaped lamp is made of medium thin to medium thick transparent decolorized glass with a grayish yellow green tinge (5 GY 7/2) and decorated with translucent dark royal blue blobs. The vessel was free-blown, with blowing spirals visible and no pontil mark. The rim was ground to create a horizontal edge, and the nearly hemispherical body has a slightly flattened base. On the upper body are two deep wheel-cut grooves, and on the middle of the body are three evenly spaced inverted triangles, each consisting of three applied blobs.
