DescriptionThis vessel is made of medium thin glass that appears translucent to transparent dusky red (near 5 R 3/4), with translucent natural green handles and thread. The fabric cannot be determined due to weathering. It was free-blown and tooled, with a pontil mark approximately 1.0 cm in diameter and added thread decoration. Excess glass at the tips of the handles has been clipped off. The bottle features a hollow rim folded outward, downward, upward, inward, and flattened, a tubular neck that tapers downward, and a conical body above a concave base. Two angular coil handles are applied to the upper part of the body and attached to the upper part of the neck where they are folded outward, upward, inward, and flattened to form a closed loop. Around the base, body, and neck are approximately six revolutions of thread. This vessel is classified as a Conical Bottle I A 3 a.
