DescriptionThis lamp with internal wick holder is made from thin, transparent natural yellowish gray glass. The exact fabric cannot be determined because of weathering, and the color of the internal wick holder is difficult to determine. The vessel is free-blown with a pontil mark measuring approximately 1.0 cm. The inturned rim is rounded in flame. The upper body is nearly hemispherical with a curving transition to the cylindrical lower body, which ends in a concave base. Inside the vessel is a separate attached conical wick holder, flaring at the bottom on one side.
