Label TextPages from the Biblia Latina, printed by Koberger at Nuremberg in 1485. Koberger was born in 1440, ten years before the completion of Gutenberg's printing press. He was one of the most important of the early printers and continued active work until about 1513. He was the godfather of the great master of engraving, Albrecht Durer, who was born in1471.
