Label TextThis print is a copy after Beham by an anonymous artist. Since there are numerous contemporary artists who copied Beham, the print may still date from the 16th century. The copy is in reverse of the original, although the copyist was careful to reverse again the monogram of Beham so that it would read properly, and to remove the original etched date of 1535.Exhibition HistoryToledo Museum of Art, Storytelling in Miniature, October 7, 2011-March 4, 2012.
