Label TextA founder of the Berlin Club Dada and a member of the German Communist Party, George Grosz caustically denounced the economic, social, and political injustices of postwar Germany. He revealed a kaleidoscope of hidden vices and desires, mainly fueled by greed and lust, beneath the hypocritical mask of propriety. Placing little value on the original work of art, Ecce Homo is a collection of photoreproductions of one hundred drawings and watercolors dating from 1915 to 1922.
