DescriptionThe Black-Amethyst Sinumbra Lamp features a pressed glass plinth base that leads to a blown classical revival column stem which is hollow and has air-intake holes. A ring-shaped brass cream-colored painted metal ring-shaped font with filler hole, the Argand burner, is attached to the glass base with plaster. The shade, with its outer surface roughened by grinding and a design of flowers and leaves cut through the roughening, rests on the metal font. The chimney is blown of clear glass and extends beyond the top of the shade.
