DescriptionOctagonal bowl pressed upright, probably in a one-piece female mold, by a plain male plunger. Joined by a wafer to a flaring octagonal base. Base pressed upside down, probably in a one-piece female mold, by a plain male plunger of tapered cylindrical shape with a short cylindrical shoulder that formed the hollow interior, with a cap ring that formed the underside of the perimeter of the base and slightly beveled edge. Rim reheated and tooled to expand the tulip lip. Slight pontil mark around edge of base.
