DescriptionRectangular glass block composed of a fused grid of commercial colorless and colored float glass with a composite of treated, colorized and fused glass fiber products. While the front’s fire-polished flat and smooth surface provides a view into the fiber-like pattern of colored glass threads, the back retains the three-dimensional grid structure of the fused panels with a rough, textured surface imparted by the mold. The block is set into a frame of brushed steel bands supported by a welded-on stand of two parallel, circular rods.
