Label Text:Horace Potter established Potter Studio in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1915, where he sold jewelry and silver. Potter Studio developed into a kind of artists’ guild similar to Charles Robert Ashbee’s Guild of Handicraft in England, which Potter had visited, in which artists of different disciplines collaborated and shared studio space and inspiration.
