Label Text:Along with Tiffany, Marcus & Company (active 1892–1962) produced America’s most significant turn-of-the-20th-century jewelry. Designed as a bunch of grapes with dew-dropped leaves, this brooch is distinctive for its undulating lines and naturalistic use of pearls and plique-à-jour enamel (an enamel technique using delicate “veins” of filigree wire).
