DescriptionA bowl of angular profile with a low round foot. Decorated inside with a rugged Kufic inscription on an olive black ground. Outside, rings and wavy lines incised on the rim. Green glaze covers inside and outside down to the rim only. This type of ware is often called "Garrus ware" from the district of Kurdistan in which it was made.
