Tenth Anniversary Cup represents Dreisbach’s interest in the history of glass, specifically his attempt to recreate complex forms seen in the finest 16th-century Venetian glass (see Gallery 4). The cup commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Toledo Workshops—the glassblowing seminars that occurred on the Toledo Museum of Art grounds and sparked the Studio Glass Movement.
