Label Text:Because of their essentially architectural form, glass lighting fixtures were well suited to expressions of classical taste. The candlestick is supported by a pressed base with scrolls and “lion’s paw” feet of antique inspiration in a style characteristic of the 1830s.
DescriptionEmbellished with applied heavy tooled annular rings. Joined by a wafer to the quatrefoil base. Standard and base pressed in the same mold and by the same plunger, modified, as lamp 1965.20.
