DescriptionPressed upside down in a one-piece plain female mold by a male plunger bearing the pattern, using Jarves's 1828 patent method (see Chapter 4). The sloping sides are in the shape of a slight S or reverse curve. No foot ring. Slight remains of fins are evident on the underside of the rim. Shear mark on patterned underside of bowl.
