DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Hotel Argus pattern, with a plain base plate, slightly domed at the center, that formed the underside and lower edge of the foot, with a cap ring that formed the plain band above the upper row of arches and the rim, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the lower edge of the foot vertically across the top of the foot, then follow the curves of the thumbprints, stopping at the bottom of the arch forming the top. No fire-polishing. No pontil mark.
