DescriptionCompote: pressed in the same manner and pattern and the same type of mold as 1961.45. Cover: pressed upside down in a one-piece mold that formed the exterior of the cover below the figure, in conjunction with a four-piece female mold that formed the Indian finial, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks follow various complicated paths over the figure's anatomy. The Indian, the top of the cover, and the band on the compote were frosted by acid etching.
