DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Broad Flute pattern, with a plain convex base plate that formed the lower edge and the slightly concave underside of the foot, probably with a cap ring that formed the edge of the rim, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the midpoint of the edge of the foot along the three edges of the hexagonal stem to the lower edge of the rim. The edges and the interior and exterior surfaces of the bowl are heavily fire-polished. Broad, lightly textured sand pontil mark.
