DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Saxon pattern that formed the top of the foot, stem, and lower part of the bowl, in conjunction with a one-piece plain cylindrical mold that formed the body, with a base plate that formed the underside and lower edge of the foot, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the center edge of the foot along the edges of the stem and the bottoms of the wedges to the tops of the diamonds. Rim reheated and slightly everted by tooling. No pontil mark.
