DescriptionBowl: pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the so-called ivy-in-snow pattern, with a base plate bearing a pattern of twenty pointed rays that formed the base, with a cap ring that formed the upper edge and top of the rim, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend from the bottom edge of the base to the rim. No pontil mark. Cover: pressed, probably upside down, in a one-piece female mold bearing the pattern, in conjunction with a two-piece female mold that formed the finial and a one-piece female mold that formed its top, with a cap ring that formed the rim, by a plain male plunger. No fire-polishing. No pontil mark.
