DescriptionLibbey no. 1546 candlestick. Socket and standard blown and finished by tooling. Joined by a flat knop to the tooled flat foot. Large, shallow, polished pontil mark. Socket engraved, probably with stone wheels, with a circle of six five-petaled flowers in pairs. Upper part of standard engraved with three sets of these flowers, each within a linear border outlined by variously sized dots. Lower part of standard engraved with a series of vertical dashes, each dash with a dot above. Underside of foot engraved with a circle of five-petaled flowers and leaves joined by a series of curved and straight lines.
